The hourly rate for this position is $19.50 - $28.10. This rate may vary based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, education, and geographic location.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Technician, Meeting Technology & Services, is responsible for providing real-time technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of all technical aspects during in-person, hybrid and virtual meetings so that the meeting experience is successful.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.
  • Creates basic Array activity builds (uploading slides, managing polling surveys, other administrative functionality) and makes content adjustments to meeting activity before and during meetings as required
  • Assists in network setup to run Array application on iPads (in-person meetings)
  • Ensures equipment is received, cleaned, charged and in working order for each on-site meeting
  • Instructs client on proper use of the Array technology and other technical aspects of live meetings
  • Validates and issues post meeting reports and data as required
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of company technology and service offerings
  • Delivers outstanding customer service, ensuring client satisfaction across all interaction points
  • Works seamlessly within teams and independently, adapting to various work settings and client needs
  • Provides business support to Project Managers as requested
  • Travels to meeting locations as needed, providing on-site support and ensuring smooth technology implementation
  • Fosters and maintains strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and liaison
  • Manages time effectively, balancing multiple tasks and adapting to shifting priorities
  • Identifies opportunities for operational improvement
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor. These may, on occasion, be assigned by an up-line supervisor and/or be unrelated to the position described here.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education, skills, experience to successfully perform the job.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
  • Proficient with using multiple computer applications, under pressure, and basic knowledge of networking principles
  • Demonstrated strong technical aptitude with the ability to rapidly learn and adapt to new technologies and software applications.
  • Experience working with audio/visual technology to support live meetings and event production preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience with web-conferencing technologies such as Zoom, Teams and Webex preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, such as PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • Willingness and ability to travel (valid drivers' license and able to obtain passport) as needed with regular overnight travel required as well as early mornings, late nights and weekends. Must live within commuting distance (60 miles or less) of an international airport.
