The Web & Digital Designer position sits within CableLabs’ Marketing department, which leads communications efforts for CableLabs and its subsidiaries, supporting the technologies, initiatives, and work that engage our member and vendor community. Our team plays a crucial role in providing departmental support across all our organizations, driving awareness to information that benefits our members, vendors and the industry, and helps the companies we support achieve strategic goals.

The position requires designing and optimizing web and landing page experiences, managing and updating web content, and creating cohesive digital and print marketing assets. The impact of your work will enhance our digital presence, improve user engagement and accessibility, and support marketing and business goals through high-performing, visually compelling experiences.

We are looking for a detail-oriented, versatile designer with strong visual design skills, an understanding of UX and SEO best practices, and hands-on experience managing web content.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design visually compelling web pages, landing pages, and marketing assets (digital and print) aligned with brand standards 
  • Apply UX principles to enhance usability, user journeys, and conversion performance 
  • Build and maintain WordPress pages, ensuring responsive, accessible, and consistent layouts 
  • Implement on-page SEO best practices to improve search visibility and site performance 
  • Audit website and landing pages to identify and resolve broken links, outdated content, and UX issues 
  • Provide cross-departmental support that delivers web and cohesive design solutions 
  • Support marketing initiatives through creation of high-quality graphics and promotional materials
  • Other duties as assigned
     

What Is a Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Digital Media, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in web, digital, or graphic design
  • Strong portfolio showcasing web design + marketing/print work
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Experience building and managing web content on Wordpress
  • Understanding of UX principles and responsive design
  • Working knowledge of SEO best practices
  • Strong attention to detail and organization

What Will Set You Apart:

  • Proficiency in Figma
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS
  • Experience with:
    • Wordpress or other page builders
    • Google Analytics, Search Console, or SEO tools

Compensation: The salary range is $82,420 - $100,620. This position is eligible for bonus incentive compensation up to 17.5% of base salary.

Working conditions and physical requirements:

This position is fully remote and requires a dedicated home workspace with reliable high-speed internet access. Working conditions for home office typically involves indoor settings, often with a mix of standing, sitting, and walking, along with the use of hands and fingers to operate computer equipment. This position also needs to communicate through various means, including telephone, email, and video conferencing platforms. Required travel for this role is up to 25% of the time.
