About this Role:

Consertus is seeking a Junior Graphic Designer (3-5 years of experience) to support internal marketing, pursuit/proposal teams, and client-facing communications. This role is ideal for a designer who can produce polished, brand-aligned visuals across digital and print formats, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can manage multiple priorities and deadlines with attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Brand and Visual Design

  • Create high-quality design assets aligned with Consertus brand standards, including brochures, reports, infographics, diagrams, presentations, templates, and event materials.
  • Apply and maintain brand consistency across deliverables, ensuring a cohesive look and feel across all channels.
  • Translate technical and engineering concepts into clear, compelling visuals for a wide range of audiences.

Marketing and Communications Support

  • Design visual content for campaigns, digital and print collateral, social media, conferences and events, and corporate storytelling.
  • Support the development of executive communications, thought leadership content, and internal announcements.
  • Contribute to visual narratives that communicate Consertus capabilities, value proposition, and project impact.

Proposal and Pursuit Support

  • Support proposal/pursuit deliverables by formatting and enhancing layout-heavy documents (qualifications, proposals, resumes, and project sheets) under tight deadlines.
  • Partner with marketing and technical teams to improve readability, consistency, and visual quality of pursuit materials.

Digital and Multimedia (as needed)

  • Produce digital-first content for websites, intranet, email campaigns, and social platforms.
  • Support basic motion graphics, video storyboarding, or light editing as needed (nice-to-have; not required).

Project and Workflow Management

  • Manage multiple concurrent design requests while maintaining quality, accuracy, and on-time delivery.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with technical staff, marketing/proposal teams, and leadership to gather inputs and align on deliverable needs.
  • Maintain organized digital files and follow version control, accessibility, and production standards.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of professional graphic design experience (AEC, consulting, or professional services preferred).
  • Portfolio required (link preferred) demonstrating strong layout, information design, visual storytelling, and corporate communications.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat.
  • Strong presentation design skills in PowerPoint (advanced formatting and visual polish).
  • Strong communication skills, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage deadlines, intake feedback, and revise efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting proposal/pursuit teams (AEC, consulting, professional services, or government contracting).
  • Experience preparing print-ready files and coordinating with vendors.
  • Familiarity with Canva or Figma (helpful, not required).
  • Basic motion graphics or video editing exposure (After Effects, Premiere Pro) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) and/or email marketing tools is a plus.

Working Hours & Location:

  • Full-time, exempt role. Standard business hours with occasional extended hours during peak deadlines (e.g., proposal submissions).
  • Hybrid or Remote (North America). Candidates located within reasonable proximity to a Consertus office are preferred.
  • Travel is expected to be occasional and based on business needs (e.g., major pursuits, key meetings, or events).

Compensation Range: $70,000 - $75,000; Eligible for Bonus
