Job description

This is an ongoing open consulting application as we are always looking for new talent to join our ResultsLab team of contract consultants! Contract Staff may engage in the following tasks and activities...

  • Lead and/or support the development, implementation, and evolution/refinement of client-facing projects.
  • Lead and/or support the development and documentation of measurement strategies and plans, including the identification of indicators and data collection tools.
  • Lead and/or support evaluation design, including development of learning questions and overall methodology to answer these questions.
  • Conduct landscape assessment and literature reviews to inform development of project/study plans, and key design and measurement products.
  • Conduct qualitative and/or quantitative data analyses.
  • Design and develop a variety of compelling data products and visualizations to communicate findings. For example, dashboards, infographics, memos, and reports.
  • Craft high-quality written deliverables (e.g., toolkits, playbooks, summary decks) to support program design, program implementation, performance measurement, and evaluation.
  • Provide facilitation, coordination,preparation,and documentation supportofcoachingsessions withorganizations and communities.
  • Support and/or lead coaching sessions for clients - both individual contributors and teams - to help build their data and evaluation capacity.

What will make you successful...

  • A bachelor's and/or master's degree in a related field and at least 4 years direct experience in evaluation and/or performance measurement, specifically with data collection, capacity building, data management, data analysis, and data visualization or communication.
  • Strong analytical, data visualization, and interpretation skills.
  • Advanced practical knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Working knowledge of qualitative analysis tools (e.g., NVivo, Atlas.ti, Dedoose)
  • Working knowledge of data reporting and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Working knowledge of data management systems (e.g., Salesforce, ETO, Apricot, mySQL)
  • Experience working in a nonprofit, foundation, or government agency.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing various tasks and activities across multiple projects.
  • Experience designing and implementing evaluation/measurement and learning plans.
  • Experience in project management, data collection and analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to center evaluation, learning, and social impact strategy work in principles of equity
  • Ability to bring to life evaluation concepts or insights to inspire action and/or learning.
  • Ability to earn the trust of others and develop relationships with team members, clients, and partners.
  • A strong desire to contribute to a collaborative team atmosphere, dive in where needed, and learn new skills as needed to support excellent service to our clients.
  • Critical thinker with proven ability to identify issues, innovate solutions, and continuously improve practice.
  • Comfort in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt and demonstrate flexibility.
  • Ability to be available during core business as needed to engage with clients or Resultslab team members.

We are a distributed remote team, so the ability to maintain a strong internet connection and experience with online project management and communication platforms and systems such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Google Suite, Productive, Monday, Slack, and/or Zoom are required.
