What is a remote independent contractor?

Remote Independent Contractors are self-employed individuals who provide services to clients or companies from a location outside of a traditional office, often from their own home or another remote setting. They typically manage their own schedules, pay their own taxes, and are responsible for their own equipment and workspace. Unlike employees, independent contractors are not entitled to benefits such as health insurance, paid leave, or retirement plans from the companies they work for. This arrangement offers flexibility but also requires a high degree of self-motivation, organization, and the ability to manage multiple clients or projects.

The Opportunity

This is a full-time, remote independent contractor role ideal for experienced recruiters or sales professionals who are motivated by uncapped earning potential.

Although this is a remote position, our team works together daily through a live Google Meets platform designed for collaboration, communication, and team support. Recruiters are expected to actively participate in the daily virtual team environment, share updates, collaborate on open job orders, and work together to move candidates and placements forward.

Conduct high-volume outreach, including 125+ calls per week, and maintain a consistent interview pipeline of 10+ interviews weekly.

Manage inbound calls with professionalism, assisting both candidates and prospective clients.

Guide new clients through the registration process and educate them on agency services and placement fees.

Evaluate candidates’ experience, soft skills, professionalism, and overall fit for placements.

Build and maintain strong client and candidate relationships throughout the hiring process.

Collaborate daily with fellow recruiters through Google Meets to share candidates, discuss job orders, fill roles faster, and maximize placement success.

Participate in team meetings, communicate updates, and contribute to shared recruiting goals.

Utilize internal systems and CRM tools to track activity, manage workflows, and maintain accurate records.

What We’re Looking For

3+ years of sales or recruiting experience required.

Proven success in commission-based or performance-driven roles.

Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Highly organized with excellent follow-through.

Comfortable engaging with high-profile clients.

Tech-savvy with experience using CRM systems and modern recruiting tools, including Google Docs, Google Sheets, DocSend, Monday.com, RingCentral, and Google Meets.

Ability to adapt, pivot, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.

Work Environment

Fully remote independent contractor position.

Preference for candidates located within Eastern Standard Time hours to allign with the team and management.

Must have a dedicated, professional workspace for virtual meetings and daily collaboration.

Reliable computer, phone, and high-speed internet required.

Availability for a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Daily participation in a live Google Meets team platform for collaboration, communication, job order updates, candidate sharing, and team support.

Compensation & Structure

Commission-based role with top performers earning $85,000 – $150,000+ annually.

Unlimited earning potential based on successful placements.

Monthly software access fee required.

Why Join Nanny Poppins Agency?

Work within a collaborative, nationwide recruiting network.
