About Us

Ascension Agent Group is a growing P&C insurance distribution platform. We partner with independent Agents and Agencies to help them run and grow their books of business. We're looking for a friendly, reliable CSR to support our Agents and their customers.

Position Summary

We're seeking a Customer Service Representative to handle day-to-day service needs for our Agency Partners and their clients. This is a service-focused role — you'll be on the phone regularly with both Agents and policyholders. Prior insurance agency experience is required — you'll bring the industry know-how, and we'll train you on our specific processes and systems.

Responsibilities

•   Field inbound calls and emails from Agents and customers regarding policy service needs

•   Make outbound calls to agents and customers as needed

•   Contact carriers as needed on behalf of Agents or customers (e.g., coverage questions, claims status, policy changes)

•   Process policy service requests (endorsements, ID cards, billing questions, etc.)

•   Provide accurate, timely, and friendly service on every interaction

•   Document all customer and Agent interactions per company procedure

•   Escalate issues appropriately when outside scope of role

•   Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

•   Active Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license required

•   Prior experience working in an independent insurance agency required

•   Comfortable handling a high volume of phone calls

•   Commercial lines knowledge a plus, but not required

•   Strong customer service and communication skills

•   Detail-oriented with good follow-through

•   Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment

What We Offer

•   $60,000–$72,000 total compensation

•   Paid Time Off (up to 25 days per year)

•   Health Benefits & 401(k)

•   Opportunity to grow with an expanding company

•   Supportive team environment with hands-on training on our processes
