We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dedicated Mental Health Team in a fully remote capacity. This full-time role is geared towards professionals who are eager to make a significant impact on the lives of children facing challenges such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD), learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

Work Environment

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing our Licensed Clinical Social Worker to operate from anywhere while contributing to a dynamic team. The work schedule generally runs from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts and rotating weekend coverage required to meet the needs of our students. The ideal candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary team including educators, speech therapists, and occupational therapists, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration for optimal student care.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with Gotham Enterprises Ltd, you will have a multifaceted role involving:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of students.
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that address specific emotional and behavioral challenges.
  • Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to studentsโ€™ needs, focusing on ASD, learning disabilities, and related disorders.
  • Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing various therapeutic approaches to enhance emotional regulation and coping skills.
  • Collaborating with educational staff and other service providers to create a comprehensive support network for each student.
  • Offering crisis intervention and support to students experiencing acute mental health issues.
  • Engaging in psychoeducation with students and their families to promote understanding and access to necessary resources.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Participating in team meetings and professional development workshops to continuously improve your practice and contribute to the team's goals.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role is working with students facing a range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, and issues related to trauma. Your expertise will directly support students in developing the skills necessary for academic success and personal growth, ultimately fostering a more inclusive educational environment.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • A current and valid LCSW license within the state of Georgia.
  • At least two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, preferably with children and adolescents.
  • A thorough understanding of mental health disorders and treatment strategies, particularly those relevant to the special education population.
  • Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to form effective treatment plans.
  • Exceptional communication abilities and strong interpersonal skills necessary for collaborative teamwork.
