Job description

Role: Enterprise Pricing Project Manager
Location: Calhoun , GA (some travel to Kennesaw, GA office as required) (Hybrid)

Contract: 18 months with possible extension

 

Position Overview

 

Our client is seeking an experienced Enterprise Pricing Project Manager to lead strategic pricing transformation initiatives. This individual will manage complex projects involving pricing systems, business process improvements, ERP integration, data governance, and organizational change management.

The ideal candidate combines strong project management expertise with hands-on experience delivering enterprise pricing solutions, preferably within Pricefx and SAP S/4HANA environments.

 Key Responsibilities

Project & Program Leadership

·        Lead enterprise pricing initiatives from planning through deployment and stabilization.

·        Manage project scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, issues, and dependencies.

·        Develop and maintain integrated project plans and milestone schedules.

·        Drive governance activities, status reporting, and executive communications.

·        Coordinate multiple workstreams and cross-functional teams.

Pricing Transformation

·        Partner with Pricing, Sales, Finance, Marketing, Customer Service, and IT teams.

·        Facilitate requirements gathering, process design workshops, and business process analysis.

·        Support pricing strategy initiatives, governance processes, and operational improvements.

·        Ensure alignment across stakeholders and business functions.

Technology Delivery

·        Lead implementation and enhancement projects involving pricing platforms and ERP systems.

·        Coordinate activities across business, technical, integration, testing, and deployment teams.

·        Manage UAT, cutover planning, go-live activities, and hypercare support.

·        Oversee third-party vendors, consultants, and implementation partners.

Data & Analytics

·        Coordinate pricing, customer, product, contract, rebate, and master data activities.

·        Support data migration, validation, reconciliation, and governance efforts.

·        Partner with reporting and analytics teams to establish KPIs and performance metrics.

Change Management

·        Develop business readiness, training, communication, and adoption plans.

·        Drive organizational change and ensure successful user adoption of new capabilities.

Executive Stakeholder Management

·        Facilitate steering committee meetings and executive updates.

·        Communicate project progress, risks, issues, decisions, and financial status.

·        Build strong relationships across business and IT leadership teams.

 

Required Qualifications

Must-Have Experience

·        Pricing Project Management experience.

·        Proven experience leading Pricing Transformation or Pricing System Implementation projects.

·        Experience delivering at least one enterprise pricing platform implementation from initiation through go-live.

·        Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project delivery methodologies.

·        Experience managing scope, schedule, budget, resources, dependencies, risks, issues, and change control.

·        Executive-level stakeholder management and communication skills.

·        Strong cross-functional leadership experience.

·        Experience facilitating requirements gathering and business process workshops.

·        Experience leading UAT, deployment, release management, and hypercare activities.

·        Experience working within ERP environments, preferably SAP S/4HANA.

·        Experience managing vendors, system integrators, and consulting partners.

·        Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Planview.

 

Preferred Qualifications

High Priority

·        Pricefx implementation experience (strongly preferred).

·        Experience with pricing operations, commercial excellence, or revenue management.

·        SAP Pricing (SD/Order-to-Cash) knowledge.

·        Experience leading SAP-to-Pricefx integrations.
