MindPath Care Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Mental Health Therapist to provide remote outpatient services to our clients in Knoxville, Tennessee. As a full-time member of our clinical team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality mental health care, tailored to individual needs, while working from the comfort of your own home.

Work Environment

This position is fully remote, offering the flexibility to work from home while connecting with clients through teletherapy. Regular business hours are maintained, providing you a structured schedule of Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive assessments to identify the severity and duration of mood disorder symptoms, establishing a clear clinical picture for effective treatment planning.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to create personalized treatment plans that reflect individual goals, preferences, and therapeutic needs.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to assist clients in managing their mood disorders effectively.
  • Educate and empower clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to foster resilience and understanding.
  • Continuously monitor client progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving therapeutic goals.
  • Collaborate with our team of psychiatrists and medical professionals to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care for our clients.
  • Remain informed about the latest research and best practices in mood disorder treatment to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of clinical interactions and treatment plans in compliance with ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on individuals grappling with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety spectrum conditions. Our diverse client base encompasses a variety of backgrounds, providing a rich tapestry of experiences and unique treatment needs.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Tennessee.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities specifically for mood disorders, including CBT and DBT.
  • A solid understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to engage in collaboration with psychiatrists.
