Shadow To Light Therapy is actively seeking dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapists (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. Our counselors will provide dedicated mental health support, conducting virtual therapy sessions aimed at enhancing the overall well-being of our clients. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct virtual therapy sessions, utilizing telehealth platforms to connect with clients and provide support for various mental health challenges.
  • Create a safe, trusting, and non-judgmental environment that encourages clients to express their feelings and concerns.
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that address individual client needs and take into account their unique backgrounds and circumstances.
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly, ensuring best practices in therapeutic methodologies.
  • Provide clients with coping strategies and resources to assist them in achieving mental wellness goals, facilitating integrated care for those with co-occurring disorders.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of therapy sessions, treatment plans, and client progress as required by state regulations and organizational policies.
  • Engage in regular case consultations with colleagues to discuss client care and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse client base, ranging from adolescents to adults facing a variety of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will have the opportunity to provide therapy to clients seeking not only crisis management but also ongoing support as they navigate their mental health journeys.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
  • A current and unrestricted license to practice as a therapist in your state (LMFT, LPC, LCSW).
  • Demonstrated experience in providing therapy and developing individualized treatment plans.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a strong ability to build trust and rapport with clients in a virtual setting.
  • Proficiency with online therapy platforms and digital communication tools.
Preferred Experience
  • At least two years of experience in a mental health counseling role, with a focus on virtual therapy.
  • Knowledge of modern therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
