This role is fully remote, allowing you flexibility in managing your daily schedule while maintaining a work-life balance. Our typical working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some adaptability to meet patient needs. We emphasize the importance of collaboration and team communication, engaging through virtual meetings and digital platforms to ensure a cohesive therapeutic experience for our clients.

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments utilizing a culturally sensitive approach to understand each patient's unique experiences.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that embrace diverse backgrounds and evidence-based therapeutic methodologies.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions focused on enhancing resilience and addressing various mental health disorders.
• Work collaboratively with a team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and allied health professionals for coordinated patient care.
• Provide crisis intervention, offering immediate support and strategies during mental health emergencies.
• Educate patients and their support systems regarding mental health conditions, treatment modalities, and available community resources.
• Maintain precise and confidential documentation of therapy sessions in compliance with legal and ethical mandates.
• Engage in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing cultural competence training to enhance service delivery.
• Stay updated with the latest research, methodologies, and cultural considerations within the mental health field to ensure best practices are adhered to.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A valid, current license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of Virginia.
• A solid understanding of mental health disorders and therapeutic strategies, with demonstrated cultural competence in mental health practices.
• Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy sessions that reflect inclusivity and responsiveness to clients' cultural contexts.
• Strong skills in crisis intervention, capable of managing emergencies effectively.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering rapport with diverse populations.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and digital communication tools.
• A commitment to maintaining ethical standards and patient confidentiality.
• A team-oriented mindset, willing to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary setting.

• A minimum of two years of professional experience in mental health counseling, particularly within outpatient or telehealth environments.
