Job description

Region MED >  Customer Project Execution, MED >  Project Management Office >  Manager NCRs & Claims MED

Every wind farm project we build is massive, complex, and financially significant. Within our regional Project Management Office (PMO) for the Mediterranean (MED), this role sits at the intersection of quality assurance and financial performance. This position has a fully regional scope covering all countries within the MED business unit, making it a key role for aligning quality, cost recovery, and project success across diverse international teams.

What You Will Do

  • Lead a Multicultural Team: Manage, mentor, and develop a geographically dispersed team of 5-6 professionals across the Mediterranean region.
  • Oversee the Claims Lifecycle: Supervise all product notifications and non-conformances (NCRs) during project execution. Perform root cause analysis and implement immediate actions to recover costs and avoid extra expenses.
  • Track Critical Issues: Follow up closely on CIM (Critical Issue Management) cases, ensuring alignment between regional project execution and global quality standards.
  • Master the Data: Consolidate and deliver high-quality, transparent regional reporting. You will transform raw data into clear insights that help leadership see where we can prevent financial losses.
  • Partner for Success: Collaborate daily with Project Management, Quality, Legal, and procurement teams across different countries.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a hybrid leader who balances technical understanding with solid business acumen. If you can lead teams remotely, negotiate effectively, and make data-driven decisions, you will thrive here.

Your Qualifications

  • A University Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a PMP certification.
  • Fluency in English is important (written and spoken), as you will work daily with multicultural teams.
  • Prior experience in the wind/renewable energy sector or a highly dynamic multinational industrial environment (such as automotive or large scale infrastructure).

Your Skills

  • PMO & Remote Leadership: Experience in managing complex projects and leading teams that are physically located in different countries
  • Quality & Claims Knowledge: A solid understanding of how NCRs and claims lifecycles work, alongside experience in quality assurance and continuous improvement
  • Data Excellence: Advanced skills in data consolidation and reporting tools like Power BI or Excel. You know how to read data to find financial opportunities
  • Stakeholder Management: Effective communication skills. You can work with and build trust with both internal project teams and external suppliers or clients
  • Focused Problem Solving: A clear emphasis on spotting financial risks early, raising issues when needed, and responding quickly to protect project budgets

Main KPIs for this Role

  • Cost Recovery: Effectively recovering costs resulting from product and execution deviations.
  • Data Quality: Ensuring the transparency, accuracy, and timeliness of all regional NCR and claims data.
