As a Clinical Social Worker at St. Mary's, you will be part of a supportive remote work environment. • Deliver high-quality counseling and psychotherapy services, ensuring the psychological well-being of clients through evidence-based practices.
• Develop detailed, personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, setting measurable goals that reflect their aspirations and needs.
• Act as an advocate for clients by connecting them with community resources including financial support, housing initiatives, and additional social services to address their overall wellbeing.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention for clients experiencing acute mental health crises, such as suicidal ideation or severe trauma, ensuring safety and appropriate care.
• Engage with community initiatives aimed at promoting mental health awareness and reducing stigma associated with mental health conditions.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements by keeping accurate and up-to-date case records, treatment plans, and progress notes in adherence to HIPAA standards.
• Participate in clinical supervision sessions and ongoing professional development opportunities to refine your skills and knowledge.

Your primary focus will be on providing therapeutic support to a diverse range of clients, including individuals grappling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our client base is characterized by varied socioeconomic backgrounds and cultural identities, making cultural competence vital in your approach to care. You will employ a person-centered therapy model that respects and adapts to each client's unique viewpoint and situational context.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Valid Virginia LCSW license, allowing independent practice.
• Demonstrated ability to implement therapeutic techniques tailored to the needs of individuals and families.
• A compassionate and empathetic demeanor, with a strong focus on promoting client empowerment and resilience.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effectively collaborating with clients and interdisciplinary team members.

• A minimum of two years of post-master’s clinical experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families is preferred.
• Experience working in community health settings and familiarity with state and federal regulations concerning mental health care.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems to document client interactions and treatment plans efficiently.

The compensation package for this position is competitive, offering an annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience.
