This is a remote telehealth position that allows you the flexibility to work from anywhere while remaining fully integrated into a dynamic team of mental health professionals. Our telehealth platform is equipped with secure systems that ensure confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations. You will have regular virtual interactions with colleagues, participate in meetings, and have access to ongoing training opportunities.

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to understand patients' backgrounds, trauma histories, and specific needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that are focused on trauma recovery, resilience building, and overall mental health improvement.
• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and promote emotional wellness.
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care to patients.
• Manage crisis interventions and provide immediate support during trauma-related emergencies.
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources to enhance their understanding and recovery.
• Maintain precise and confidential electronic documentation in conformity with legal and ethical standards of practice.
• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities that emphasize trauma-informed care practices.
• Continuously update knowledge regarding current research and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance service delivery.

Your primary responsibility will be serving adults experiencing the psychological effects of trauma, including those diagnosed with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. The clientele often exhibits a wide range of emotional responses and coping difficulties arising from their past experiences. Your role will be pivotal in helping them navigate their recovery journeys and build resilience.

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, demonstrating competency in trauma-focused therapies.
• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by compassion and a non-judgmental approach.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle high-stress situations with professionalism.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and effectiveness in using computer applications relevant to therapy.
• Enthusiasm for collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary team focused on patient-centered care.

Experience implementing trauma-focused therapeutic interventions, particularly EMDR and TF-CBT, is highly valued. Additionally, familiarity with the latest research and practices in trauma therapy will set you apart as a candidate. Successful candidates will demonstrate an ability to foster trusting relationships with clients and show cultural competency in working with diverse populations.
