• Conduct thorough assessments to understand and evaluate the social, emotional, and psychological needs of clients, ensuring tailored intervention strategies.
• Provide individual and group counseling, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to foster client engagement and skill development.
• Create, implement, and monitor personalized service plans that align with clients' goals while adapting to their evolving needs.
• Advocate tirelessly for clients’ rights, ensuring access to essential resources and services while addressing systemic barriers to social justice.
• Participate in program development and evaluation, contributing to grant reporting and helping to shape initiatives that serve our community’s needs.
• Engage with a multidisciplinary team and local partners to explore innovative approaches to community issues while participating in regular team meetings and training sessions.
• Participate in outreach activities to increase awareness of available services within the communities served.

This role primarily focuses on serving individuals and families facing a variety of challenges, including mental health issues, economic hardship, and social disadvantage. Our client population is diverse, encompassing various age groups, socio-economic backgrounds, and cultural perspectives, reflecting the vibrant community of Peoria.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is mandatory.
• Possession of an active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required.
• A deep understanding of social justice, trauma-informed care principles, advocacy strategies, and community resources is essential for success in this role.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills are a must, enabling effective client interactions and case management.

We highly value candidates with previous experience working in a nonprofit or similar setting, particularly those with a focus on mental health services. The salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a potential sign-on bonus. Our benefits package includes:
