Overview:
As the Director of Information Technology, you will be responsible for delivering a reliable and high performing department, infrastructure and systems that support all core internal IT operations. This person will manage all facets of the IT organization including infrastructure, end user support, enterprise apps, integration, and compliance.
You'll be responsible for the reliability, scalability, security and maturity of our systems to support our rapidly growing business using industry best practices expected of a large and scaling company.
Responsibilities:
  • Create vision and objectives for transformation of IT processes, capabilities and operating model in support of business transformation vision to achieve the status of premier technology organization.
  • Support and enhance our enterprise applications.
  • Deliver safe, secure and efficient solutions for IT asset management, central user authority system and integration, laptop hardware and software management and antivirus software solutions.
  • Ensure email, messaging and productivity tools are robust and centrally managed for security, stability and overall governed for compliance purposes.
  • Ensure compliance with the changing laws and applicable regulations.
  • Identify potential risks and actionable plans to protect the business.
  • Ensure cyber security policies and procedures are communicated to all personnel and that compliance is enforced.
  • Develop a team of IT professionals, setting clear goals, managing project loads and allocating work accordingly, ensuring deadlines are met and setting up team members for overall success.
  • Communicate the company's technology strategy to management, staff, partners, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Manage and facilitate performance management for the team.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Technology, Information Systems, Analysis, Business or relevant experience.
  • 10+ years managing and delivering IT services and projects in a software application technology environment with cannabis industry experience required.
  • 5+ years building and leading an enterprise IT team.
  • Ability to solve complex problems and perform broad technology implementations.
  • Experience building IT systems in a multi-region, scaling company.
  • Experience attracting, developing, and retaining top talent to continually improve IT capabilities necessary to increase performance of the organization.
  • Track record for delivery in high-growth, rapidly changing environment.
  • Proven ability to manage and enhance risk management strategy, policies, processes, and controls to mitigate organization exposure.
  • Ability to establish ongoing change management capabilities to support major innovation and transformation programs.
  • Deep understanding of business operations and financial systems in the context of operational business processes.
  • Maintain a current understanding of the IT threat landscape for the industry.

Physical Requirements:
  • This role requires prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

The posted compensation range reflects the potential range for this role across multiple U.S. markets. Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location, experience, and qualifications.
Remote Pay Range
$160,000-$170,000 USD
