Bremer Whyte Brown & O'Meara, LLP is seeking a talented Litigation Attorney to join our award-winning team. We are a reputable and forward-thinking mid-sized law firm, recognized for our sixth consecutive year in the U.S. News - Best Lawyers 'Best Law Firms' rankings.

As an integral member of our litigation team, you will be responsible for handling your own caseload of litigation matters involving commercial, contract/business disputes, general liability, construction, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death claims for a diverse range of clients, including individuals, businesses, and organizations. This role offers an excellent platform for professional growth, as you will collaborate closely with team members and have the opportunity to be mentored by experienced partners.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of civil litigation experience, preferably handling matters involving general liability, construction, personal/catastrophic injury, contracts/business, and/or commercial disputes.
  • Current admission to the California State Bar is required.
  • Experienced in preparing pleadings, propounding and responding to discovery, drafting motions and legal briefs, taking and defending depositions, communicating with clients and opposing counsel, and appearing in court. Arbitration and/ trial experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Experience supervising law clerks and junior associates is a plus!
  • Exceptional communication and advocacy skills along with a client-focused mindset and a passion for achieving successful outcomes.
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
