As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments to understand the specific needs and circumstances of each client.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) for children affected by substance abuse issues.
• Monitoring outcomes by tracking client progress and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans for improved effectiveness.
• Providing vital support to families, equipping them with information, skills, and resources aimed at fostering healthy developmental milestones.
• Employing evidence-based practices and adhering to both federal and state regulations to enhance the quality of care provided.
• Creating a safe and supportive learning environment by developing strong rapport with children and families.
• Utilizing coaching models and natural environment teaching strategies to engage clients in their own learning processes.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety standards to protect both clients and staff.

This role will focus primarily on serving children and their families in crisis situations, particularly those impacted by substance use within the home environment. By working directly with families, you will help children develop essential skills across physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication domains, enhancing their overall quality of life and supporting their future success.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) by the Department of Public Health.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation for any necessary travel.
• Demonstrable experience adapting to various learning styles to effectively address the needs of individual children and their treatment plans.
• Previous experience (minimum one year) working with children in early intervention and social work settings.
• A strong commitment to Natural Learning Environment Practices.
