This position allows for remote work, providing flexibility while ensuring you are connected with our clients and interdisciplinary team. While you will be conducting sessions from your home office, you will also be equipped with the necessary tools and technology to effectively engage with clients. Your collaboration with colleagues, including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, is key to providing holistic care.

• Establish and maintain a positive, trusting rapport with clients to foster a therapeutic environment conducive to personal growth.
• Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose mental health disorders and formulate individualized treatment plans tailored to meet each client's specific needs.
• Facilitate counseling sessions for individuals, couples, and families, employing various therapeutic modalities to address issues such as anxiety, depression, family dynamics, and relationship conflicts.
• Regularly review and adjust treatment plans to reflect progress and ongoing challenges, ensuring optimal patient engagement and outcomes.
• Perform ongoing evaluations of clients’ progress, utilizing evidence-based practices to measure efficacy and develop strategies for improvement.
• Collaborate with other health professionals to coordinate care, referring clients to specialists as needed to enhance treatment outcomes.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in evidence-based therapy practices, particularly those relating to co-occurring disorders and substance abuse.

Your work will primarily focus on supporting a diverse client population, including individuals, couples, and families experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges. You will address issues stemming from, but not limited to, trauma, addiction, relationship problems, and emotional distress. This role will require cultural competence and an understanding of various backgrounds to effectively engage and support clients from all walks of life.

• A valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is essential.
• Strong therapeutic and counseling skills, along with the ability to motivate and empower clients toward their therapeutic goals.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
• A commitment to professional development and staying current with research and practices in mental health counseling.

• Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling is preferred to facilitate comprehensive treatment plans for clients with co-occurring disorders.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapies and interventions for substance abuse is highly desirable.
