Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality counseling and psychotherapy services, employing evidence-based therapies tailored to individual client needs.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans in consultation with clients that include measurable goals and therapeutic interventions.
• Conduct thorough assessments to identify client needs, strengths, and areas of concern; leverage this information to inform treatment choices.
• Advocate for clients by connecting them with vital resources such as financial assistance programs, housing support, and community services.
• Respond to acute mental health crises by providing timely interventions for issues such as suicidal ideation, substance abuse, or trauma responses.
• Participate in community education initiatives aimed at increasing mental health awareness and reducing stigma.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate client records while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other relevant regulations.
• Engage in ongoing mentorship and clinical supervision, which supports both professional and personal growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients served by our clinic include a diverse range of individuals facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related issues, and substance use disorders. Our LCSWs work closely with clients from different backgrounds, cultures, and demographics, emphasizing culturally competent practices to ensure that all clients feel respected and understood.

Qualifications

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential is required to practice independently.
• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is mandatory.
• At least 2 years of prior experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families.
• A compassionate and empathetic approach to client care, emphasizing cultural competence and effective communication.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated proficiency in various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care.
• Experience in crisis intervention and skill in handling acute mental health situations effectively.
• Familiarity with telehealth frameworks and technology platforms used in remote therapy delivery can be an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

Our LCSW position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
