IDEATION MANAGER

THE RUNDOWN

Playfly Sports is looking for a Ideation Manager to join our team in New York City.

The Ideation Manager, Playfly Creates will set the creative direction for and oversee the implementation and management of large-scale creative projects within the Playfly Creates team. They will find and implement thoughtful, effective, and creative marketing solutions that help drive revenue for all Playfly business units. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of presentation and creative projects and processes, strong communication skills, and experience with ideation, building narratives, and strategic storytelling. This role is a key liaison within the Playfly Creates team to connect business strategy, design, creative activation, and data that are relevant to each unique stakeholder on a project-by-project basis.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

  • Leverage understanding of the marketplace, client objectives, advertiser/sponsor/category nuances and Playfly capabilities to develop best-in-class marketing ideas to respond to client requests and needs
  • Lead the deck building process in collaboration with design teams to articulate ideas into visual responses and presentations
  • Collaborate with sales, research, and overall Playfly Sports leadership to translate business goals into creative solutions
  • Provide ongoing support to sales teams through the development of proposals, presentations, and custom materials that enhance client relationships and advance business opportunities.
  • Act as project lead from conception through deployment by managing resources, logistics and approvals to meet deadlines with successful delivery
  • Track major project milestones across many different internal and external teams
  • Ensure internal and external teams know and understand project vision
  • Build creative excellence in execution of current and emerging advertising media and sponsorship disciplines, while upholding the highest standards and best practices for all creative development in the Playfly Sports ecosystem
  • Champion Playfly Sports brand consistency across presentations and materials
  • Contribute to growth of team and refinement of process/workflow
  • Push strategic and creative boundaries with big, marketing ideas driven by consumer and client insights
  • Other job-related duties as assigned

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 4+ years in a broadcast/cable network, integrated marketing, sports league/team, or agency environment required
  • Must be cross functional and well versed in all media/sponsorship platforms and emerging trends
  • Must have excellent presentation skills, strong communication, written and organization skills.
  • Ability to adapt and multitask while managing various timelines and deadlines in a rapidly changing, high-growth environment
  • Ability to build positive relationships with business leaders, peers, and colleagues throughout the internal organization to ensure positive outcomes for Playfly Sports partnerships
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Ability to learn and utilize research-based systems to create and deliver compelling presentations
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Power Point, Word, Excel, and Outlook
