Job Description:

The Vendor Business Manager (IBM-HW) for our CCA (Caribbean Central America) Organization will lead the IBM Power & Storage portfolio. This role is responsible for aligning the capabilities of TD SYNNEX, IBM, and our partner ecosystem to generate demand, develop a qualified pipeline, and deliver profitable, sustainable growth.

The successful candidate will combine a strong commercial mindset with the ability to translate technology expertise into measurable business outcomes.

This individual will serve as a category leader by assessing market opportunities, engaging the partner ecosystem, building a high-quality pipeline, and converting opportunities into profitable growth.

What You'll Do:
  • Lead the end-to-end commercial management of the IBM Power & Storage portfolio, including strategy, market positioning, pricing, availability, forecasting, and performance.

  • Develop and execute the annual business plan in alignment with TD SYNNEX CCA and IBM strategic priorities.

  • Establish and strengthen relationships with channel partners while identifying opportunities for cross-selling, upselling, and expanded market coverage.

  • Drive demand-generation initiatives, including campaigns, events, training sessions, workshops, and webinars, in collaboration with IBM and authorized partners.

  • Manage the sales pipeline through consistent follow-up on opportunities, quotations, negotiations, and closures.

  • Prepare and monitor forecasts for sales, inventory, margin, and other key performance indicators.

  • Partner with sales, presales, marketing, finance, operations, and credit teams to ensure timely and effective execution.

  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer requirements to recommend and implement new growth initiatives.

  • Lead technical and commercial enablement activities for partners across IBM Power, Storage, and related solutions.

  • Prepare executive reports and presentations for IBM, channel partners, and senior leadership.

  • Performs other additional duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • Three to five years of relevant experience in technology distribution, vendor management, channel sales, systems integration, or IT product and solution management.

  • Intermediate to advanced English proficiency for vendor communication and technical or commercial documentation.

  • Demonstrated experience with infrastructure solutions, including servers, storage, virtualization, or data centers.

  • Experience working with distributors, channel partners, and systems integrators.

  • Strong analytical capability across sales, margin, forecasting, inventory, and pipeline management.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Knowledge of IBM Power and/or IBM Storage is preferred.
