What We Need:

We are seeking an experienced, proactive Regional Sales Manager responsible for the development and sustainable growth in the industrial HVAC products market. 

This position is remote & geographically flexible -  Desired locations include NE Ohio, Texas, Pittsburg PA, Chicago IL

 Essential Duties:

  • Responsible for Industrial/Commercial HVAC sales group growth in expanding the existing sales channel with top tier representation and supporting growth in the steel industry, paper industry, oil & gas, overhead cranes, customized trailers, mining, and other industrial markets
  • Managing and growing the channel to support customer requirements and stated growth goals
  • Defining, developing and penetrating key customer accounts directly for the Industrial/Commercial HVAC markets
  • Attending tradeshows to drive growth for the Industrial/Commercial HVAC sectors
  • Understand and define opportunities for marketing communications support required to drive growth
  • Engaging with engineering on specific programs through the engineering gate process
  • Provide input to product line business plan, R&D projects, and Sales & Operation Planning (S&OP) activities
  • Travel required – 25-50%

 Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in business, engineering or related field
  • Three to five years’ experience in industrial product and systems sales
  • Strong knowledge of steel, paper, and heavy industries
  • Knowledge of HVAC products desired
  • Experience in managing representatives and distribution channels, a plus
  • Experience in the use of CRM system, Salesforce
  • Ability to define opportunities for marketing communications support required to drive growth
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and problem solve
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Possesses strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with customers, vendors, employees and managers at all levels within the company
  • Possesses strong computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in standard business software packages (e.g., Microsoft Office)
