As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your day-to-day duties will include:

• Conducting individual counseling sessions with clients via secure video conferencing platforms, aiming to improve their mental well-being.
• Facilitating discussions that encourage clients to express their emotions, thereby helping them to develop a deeper understanding of themselves and their personal relationships.
• Acting as an advocate for clients by assisting them in defining and working towards their personal and therapeutic goals.

Our client demographic primarily consists of pre-screened individuals with stable mental health statuses and low acuity needs. To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• An independent state-issued license, specifically a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC); limited or provisional licenses will not be accepted.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, a compassionate demeanor, and the ability to empathize with clients effectively.
• Proficiency in using technology for telehealth services, ensuring seamless communication and documentation.

While not mandatory, the following experiences are desirable:

• Experience working with diverse client populations to ensure sensitivity to varying backgrounds and mental health needs.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities that align with our organizational philosophy.
• Prior remote counseling experience to adapt smoothly to our telehealth platform.
