Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing you the flexibility to manage your schedule while still engaging with students, parents, and educational staff. You'll be working in partnership with schools to address the mental health needs of students, making this role integral to fostering a supportive educational environment. While our operational hours may include evenings and weekends to align with school schedules, we prioritize work-life balance for our employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to accurately diagnose and identify student needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect the unique requirements of each student.
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and cognitive-behavioral therapy.
• Regularly collaborate with teachers, school counselors, and external providers to create an integrated support system for each student.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on feedback and outcomes.
• Facilitate psychoeducation sessions for students and families to foster understanding and adherence to treatment.
• Collaborate with medical professionals in administering prescribed psychotropic medications, focusing on adherence and side effects.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role specifically targets students within educational settings who may be struggling with various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. You will play a critical role in connecting young individuals with the support they need, ultimately enhancing their educational experience and personal development. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current, valid, and unrestricted LCSW license to practice independently within the State of Florida.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience working as an independently licensed therapist, particularly in a mental health setting.

• Experience working within educational environments is highly desirable.
• Understanding of school mental health systems and community resources.
