Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental and emotional health, identifying their needs and aspirations to formulate effective treatment plans.
  • Provide individual therapy sessions to a diverse clientele ranging from children to adults, addressing various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges.
  • Facilitate couples therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based techniques to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen relational bonds.
  • Develop and personalize treatment strategies based on ongoing assessments and direct client consultation, ensuring relevance to clients' evolving circumstances.
  • Regularly review and update treatment plans based on client progress, actively engaging clients in their own therapeutic journey.
  • Maintain meticulous and accurate client records, including session notes, treatment plans, and case histories in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care, engaging in regular communication with other healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Provide crisis intervention when necessary, assisting clients during acute distress or emergencies with sensitivity and skill.
  • Stay abreast of the latest research and methodologies in the field of marriage and family therapy, applying ongoing learning to enhance effectiveness.

  • Advocate for clients’ rights and well-being, empowering them to make informed decisions regarding their treatment options.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Mind Health Behavioral Counseling, you will engage with a broad patient population including individuals, couples, and families. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and face various challenges ranging from relationship conflicts to mental health disorders. Your expertise will guide them in navigating their concerns, promoting recovery and resilience in a nurturing environment.

Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or closely related field.
  • Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in Arizona is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated experience providing therapy to individuals and couples.

Compensation and Benefits
