Job Description:

The HR Coordinator will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of HR compliance and leave functions within our organization. This position involves owning remote work compliance, managing leave of absence for CoxHealth providers, managing provider contract inquiries, and supporting the workers' compensation processes. The HR Coordinator will proactively identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to correct any non-conformities.   Additionally, this role supports strategic compliance initiatives and implements innovative and analytically driven programs to ensure CoxHealth's compliance with internal policies and external agencies. The HR Coordinator also serves as an HR partner, providing guidance and consultation on compliance strategy and governance in collaboration with cross-functional teams.Education: ▪ Required: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related fieldExperience: ▪ Preferred: 1-2 years HR experience with working knowledge of relevant accrediting bodies, CMS, and other regulations affecting HR practice ▪ Preferred: Experience in processing leave of absence with knowledge of federal and state leave regulations and employment lawSkills: ▪ Proficient in Microsoft Office programs ▪ Excellent verbal and written communication ▪ Ability to perform in highly stressful situations ▪ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail ▪ Ability to manage confidential and sensitive employee information ▪ Independent decision-makingLicensure/Certification/Registration: ▪ N/A
