Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to establish diagnoses and evaluate mental health status, utilizing tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) to inform individualized treatment plans.
  • Monitor patient progress continually and implement interventions to support mental health stability, adapting strategies as necessary for effective outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including treatment records and reports, leveraging current technologies in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with patients, their families, and a multidisciplinary team to develop customized treatment plans that encompass the unique needs and goals of each patient.
  • Facilitate patient safety by anticipating needs and intervening in symptom management, actively engaging in team discussions to enhance overall care protocols.
  • Act as a resource for referral coordination, building and nurturing relationships with external providers to optimize patient access to comprehensive care.
  • Educate and mentor interns, residents, and volunteers, integrating a teaching approach that supports the next generation of mental health professionals.
  • Support team member development through peer reviews, clinical collaborations, and constructive feedback, under the guidance of your clinical supervisor.
