Job description

The Telehealth Coordinator Lead is responsible for addressing client, patient and/or provider inquiries via email, fax, telephonic, or written correspondence ensuring adherence to contractual and state guidelines as well as client instructions. The Telehealth Coordinator Lead assists in daily guidance of their assigned team.

This is a remote role but requires residency in Arizona or Virginia.

The work schedule for this role is Monday - Friday, with the following shifts available: 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM ET and 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM ET

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review medical notes, treatment referrals, work status notes, etc. to ensure all necessary referral orders were received
  • Responsible for data entry and verification of details in the system for appropriate and timely order submission
  • Provide quality telephonic and email customer service including inbound and outbound messages
  • Identify, analyze, and solve problems outside of standard processes
  • Responsible for research of escalated call concerns
  • Assist in leading and/or managing team
  • Act as a resource for day-to-day questions for assigned team and as backup to management when not available
  • Monitor work queue status of visits processed; make recommendations for action plans to improve management as needed
  • Assist with training of new and existing agents as assigned
  • Provide feedback for performance evaluations and performance management as requested
  • Recommend process changes to improve workflow efficiencies as identified
  • Maintain a sense of urgency and provide timely feedback to agents
  • Participate in ongoing internal training and learning to obtain updated knowledge of industry and product changes
  • Additional duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Ability to work on several concurrent tasks in a high-volume, fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize Microsoft Office including Outlook and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail with a high commitment to accuracy

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 3 years of experience in medical data entry and processing preferred

PAY RANGE: 

CorVel uses a market based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location.  Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors:  federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions.  Our ranges may be modified at any time. 

For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.  The level may impact the salary range and these adjustments would be clarified during the offer process. 

Pay Range:  $19.24 - $31.04 per hour
