We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team at Premier Counseling & Wellness Services. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to understand the needs and goals of clients, developing individualized treatment plans accordingly.
  • Provide evidence-based psychotherapy services, including individual, family, and group therapy sessions, through telehealth platforms and face-to-face meetings as needed.
  • Utilize therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to address various mental health concerns.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation through Electronic Health Records (EHR) software, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and promoting client confidentiality.
  • Engage in continuous professional development by attending training sessions and staying abreast of best practices in the field.
  • Collaborate with other mental health professionals and community resources to enhance client care and support.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The LMFT will work predominantly with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing a variety of challenges such as trauma, grief, loss, anxiety, and relationship issues. Our culturally sensitive approach aims to respect and address the distinct customs and needs unique to each client, ensuring they receive the most effective care possible.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s Degree from an accredited program in Counseling, Marriage and Family Studies, or a related field.
  • An active and unrestricted LMFT license to practice in Texas.
  • Proficiency in both English and Spanish, with strong communication skills to provide bilingual therapy services.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working in mental health settings with children and families.
  • Demonstrated cultural competence and the ability to work effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Training in therapeutic modalities such as CBT, TF-CBT, or EMDR.
  • Familiarity with EHR software and other digital tools to manage client information securely and efficiently.

  • Experience providing in-network services with insurance panels to improve client access to care.
