• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for clients, incorporating strategies for managing crises, risk assessments, and positive behavior interventions.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation that meets all regulatory requirements while adhering to clinical best practices.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to formulate effective positive behavior support plans.
• Participate actively in ongoing licensing and accreditation processes, demonstrating commitment to quality care and standards.
• Serve as a liaison with various state agencies, community partners, and service systems as needed to enhance client support.
• Promote communication channels within the organization and with external partners, focusing on client outcomes and service excellence.
• Foster relationships with local, state, and federal agencies to leverage resources and identify new partnership opportunities.
• Engage in professional growth activities, including attending conferences, participating in task forces, and representing the clinic in community events.
• Uphold and integrate the organization's mission, values, and principles into everyday practice.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director.

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will primarily focus on a diverse client population, including individuals facing psychological distress due to trauma, substance use, cognitive disabilities, and those in need of social support within the community. Our approach is individualized, sensitive, and rooted in building a collaborative therapeutic relationship with each client to facilitate their journey toward recovery.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in a behavioral health field is required.
• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC issued by the state board is mandatory.
• Proven ability to maintain clinical records and manage reporting responsibilities effectively.
• Strong collaborative skills to work within an interdisciplinary team environment.
• Excellent communication abilities to articulate ideas and treatment plans effectively.
• Judicious decision-making skills and professional judgment in clinical situations.

• Experience working in a community health setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with remote therapy delivery and virtual mental health practices would be an asset.
• Previous involvement in initiatives aimed at improving community mental health outcomes.
