Job description

Bullhorn's core purpose is to create an incredible customer experience, and the organization has a sharp focus on delivering very high quality products and services to its customers. The company culture is shaped by five Core Values: Ownership, Energy, Speed & Agility, Service, and Being Human. Each value, and its underlying definition, serves as a behavioral guide for employees as they interact with customers and fellow coworkers and is an embedded way of operating across our organization.
Bullhorn is a fast-paced and dynamic environment where hard work and outstanding results are rewarded and celebrated. We value those that exhibit an eagerness to learn and a strong natural desire for continuous improvement and we encourage team members to stretch themselves, acknowledge challenges and learn from them. With a strong focus on growth, we provide ample opportunities for career development and prioritize promoting from within. We believe that leaders should care deeply about the development of their employees at all levels, emphasizing emotional intelligence and accountability. Our leaders collaborate closely to ensure the success of their teams, and we work together to achieve shared goals, creating a challenging and rewarding workplace for everyone.
About the role
We are looking for a curious, tech-savvy, and analytical HRIS Administratorto help support, optimize, and scale our HR technology ecosystem. In this role, you will be a key player behind our business processes, integrations, and a bridge between HR and other back-office teams like Finance, IT, InfoSec, and Compliance while ensuring our HRIS remains the source of truth. You will help drive our data analytics with building reports and dashboard and being a guardian of our data hygiene.
The ideal candidate has a passion for problem-solving, a consultative mindset for working with cross-functional teams, and the technical curiosity to build automated, optimized workflows, dashboards, and reports. If you are someone who naturally loves to pull things apart to see how they work, automate repetitive tasks so you can oversee them vs. do them, and collaborate across teams to make work easier for everyone - you'll thrive here.
A typical day will include...
System Configuration & Business Process Optimization
  • Day-to-Day Administration: Assist with the hands-on configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of our HRIS.
  • Process Optimization: Partner with team members to review, test, and streamline HR business processes to improve the employee experience. Operationalize problems and inefficiencies using our HR systems.
  • Issue Resolution: Provide front-line support for system errors, diagnosing root causes and helping to implement long-term fixes.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain clear, user-friendly guides and training materials for HR and business end users.

Data, Analytics & Hygiene
  • Reporting & Dashboards: Design, build, and maintain custom reports and dashboards to deliver accurate and timely insights to HR partners and other business stakeholders.
  • Data Hygiene & Audits: Own recurring data audits to ensure data integrity, cleanliness, and consistency across all people systems.
  • Data Security: Maintain data access controls within our people systems. Conduct regular access audits to ensure the right people have the right access.
  • Compliance Support: Help ensure data entry and architecture supports basic HR compliance, governance, and audit requirements.

Integrations
  • Integration Monitoring: Keep a watchful eye on existing integrations, proactively troubleshooting failures and system mismatches.

  • Domain Knowledge: A foundational grasp of basic HR, Payroll, and Compliance workflows.
  • Compliance Knowledge: General knowledge of Global compliance regulations that impact HR & HR Systems (e.g. GDPR, Immigration and Payroll)
  • Integration Familiarity: Exposure to or experience monitoring system integrations. Bonus: Any exposure to building/maintaining recipes and connections using APIs, Workato, or other integration platforms.

Mindset & Soft Skills
  • Relentless Curiosity: You don't just accept "that's how we've always done it." You want to know why a process exists and how to make it better.
  • Proactive, Problem-Solver Attitude: A proactive, solutions-oriented approach to roadblocks. You see a system glitch as a puzzle to solve, not a headache. You look at things challenges from multiple angles, take ideas from one area and adapt them to new context.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity: Ability to make sound decisions and recommendations with incomplete information; You don't wait for perfect clarity
  • Strong Communicator: The ability to translate technical concepts into simple, actionable explanations for non-technical teammates.
