Inner Summit Counseling Services is actively seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to become an integral part of our dedicated team. In this full-time remote role, you will offer essential counseling and social work services to clients in a Hospice Center environment, focusing on providing compassionate support to terminally ill patients and their families. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and establish individualized treatment plans understanding their social circumstances.
  • Provide personalized one-on-one counseling to patients, exploring a variety of psychosocial issues such as grief, depression, and anxiety related to terminal illness.
  • Lead therapeutic group sessions, fostering community support and psychoeducation among clients and their families to break isolation and promote healing.
  • Design, implement, and monitor detailed treatment plans, employing evidence-based interventions tailored to the terminally ill population.
  • Deliver crisis intervention services, performing risk assessments and safety planning while coordinating urgent resources when necessary.
  • Advocate for patients and families, ensuring they have access to essential services and support as they navigate healthcare systems.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, documenting assessments, treatment plans, and progress in compliance with ethical standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients at the end of life and their families. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, doctors, and counselors, to provide holistic care that aligns with the patients’ and families’ values and wishes. The goal is to enhance quality of life, address emotional distress, and facilitate open conversations around end-of-life issues.

Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
  • Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Demonstrated clinical experience in providing social work and counseling services, with a focus on mental health or hospice care.
  • Strong interpersonal skills allowing effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 95,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additionally, new hires are eligible for a sign-on bonus.
