You will have access to the necessary technology and support to provide thorough assessments and interventions in hospice care. • Conduct individual and family psychotherapy sessions via telehealth, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to clients' end-of-life and bereavement needs.
• Utilize comprehensive psychological assessments and diagnostic tools to create accurate client profiles, ensuring appropriate treatment plans.
• Develop customized treatment goals that reflect the unique concerns of each client, adjusting strategies as their conditions evolve.
• Provide crisis intervention services, including assessments for suicidal ideation and facilitating necessary hospitalizations when required, ensuring clients are safe and supported.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other mental health professionals to coordinate care plans that address both physical and emotional challenges faced by clients in palliative care.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation of client interactions, treatments provided, and progress in accordance with state regulations and best practices.
• Participate in regular team meetings and clinical supervision sessions to enhance professional skills and contribute to the development of clinical policies aimed at improving service delivery.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Liberton Counseling Services, you will primarily work with clients facing terminal illnesses, their families, and caregivers. Your role will encompass understanding the emotional complexity of grief, anticipatory loss, and psychological distress associated with end-of-life transitions. You will be instrumental in fostering a supportive environment and providing resources that help clients cope with their unique situations.

• A Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Current LCSW licensure in the state of Georgia.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in providing mental health services, with a strong understanding of the dynamics involved in hospice and end-of-life care.
• Proficient in evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and other approaches relevant to client needs.
• Exemplary communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to build rapport with clients quickly.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to navigate complex therapeutic scenarios effectively.

• Experience working with diverse populations, particularly in a hospice or palliative care environment.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and teletherapy platforms to facilitate efficient service delivery.
• A background in group therapy settings to address various family dynamics during the grieving process.
