Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual and family psychotherapy sessions via telehealth, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to clients' end-of-life and bereavement needs.
  • Utilize comprehensive psychological assessments and diagnostic tools to create accurate client profiles, ensuring appropriate treatment plans.
  • Develop customized treatment goals that reflect the unique concerns of each client, adjusting strategies as their conditions evolve.
  • Provide crisis intervention services, including assessments for suicidal ideation and facilitating necessary hospitalizations when required, ensuring clients are safe and supported.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other mental health professionals to coordinate care plans that address both physical and emotional challenges faced by clients in palliative care.
  • Maintain precise and timely documentation of client interactions, treatments provided, and progress in accordance with state regulations and best practices.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and clinical supervision sessions to enhance professional skills and contribute to the development of clinical policies aimed at improving service delivery.
Patient Population / Client Focus
