Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to gain a deep understanding of clients' presenting issues, histories, and treatment objectives, ensuring that therapy is individualized and effective.
  • Provide evidence-based individual, couple, and family therapy using modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and narrative therapy to foster healing and transformation.
  • Develop, implement, and regularly revise personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, focusing on their unique goals and needs.
  • Facilitate open communication and create a therapeutic alliance with clients, promoting trust and engagement in the counseling process.
  • Document client progress thoroughly while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to all ethical guidelines and state regulations.
  • Engage in continuous professional development, actively participating in team meetings, workshops, and training to stay updated on best practices in mental health care.
  • Offer guidance and practical strategies to help clients navigate life challenges, encouraging recovery and positive life changes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at our organization, you will primarily serve clients in a hospice setting, addressing a range of mental health concerns and emotional distress associated with chronic illness, end-of-life issues, and bereavement. Your expertise will provide crucial support to clients coping with grief and loss, as well as their families, facilitating healing during one of life's most challenging times.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required for this position, providing the essential foundational knowledge for effective practice.
  • Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is a must, ensuring that you meet the professional standards set forth for clinical practice.
