Diagnostic Radiologist – Multiple Openings

Location: Florida’s Space Coast
Employment: Permanent or Locum Tenens
Work Model: Remote, Hybrid, or On-Site
Openings: 3–5 Physicians

A well-established, physician-owned radiology group on Florida’s Space Coast is expanding and seeking 3–5 Diagnostic Radiologists. The group is making a significant investment in physician recruitment to improve coverage, reduce pressure on its existing team, and create more sustainable workloads.

General Diagnostic Radiologists are encouraged to apply. Fellowship-trained physicians in Body Imaging, Musculoskeletal Radiology, or Neuroradiology are also welcome, provided they are comfortable supporting a broad diagnostic case mix.

Opportunity Highlights

  • Day, evening, and overnight schedules available
  • Seven-on/seven-off options for select day and evening emergency coverage
  • Fully remote opportunities for nonprocedural radiologists
  • Hybrid and onsite options for physicians interested in procedures
  • Permanent and locum tenens arrangements considered
  • Internal moonlighting and voluntary additional coverage available
  • Staffing expansion intended to support approximately 60–90 RVUs per shift, depending on shift length, modality mix, and complexity
  • Broad emergency, inpatient, outpatient, and freestanding imaging exposure

Responsibilities

  • Interpret CT, MRI, ultrasound, radiography, and fluoroscopy
  • Provide timely and accurate interpretations for emergency, inpatient, and outpatient services
  • Communicate critical findings to emergency physicians, hospitalists, surgeons, and referring providers
  • Perform fluoroscopy or basic image-guided procedures when aligned with training and the selected schedule
  • Provide Body, MSK, or Neuro expertise when applicable
  • Participate in quality assurance and peer-review activities

Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Active Florida medical license or eligibility to obtain one
  • Eligible for required hospital credentials and privileges
  • Comfortable interpreting a broad general diagnostic case mix
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, efficiency, and collegiality

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation is highly competitive and will be structured around the physician’s experience, schedule, shift preference, subspecialty, procedural responsibilities, and productivity expectations.

The group is open to discussing each physician’s compensation requirements and will make every reasonable effort to meet the requested package or come as close as possible.

The overall package may include:

  • Competitive guaranteed compensation
  • Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance
  • Additional earnings through voluntary coverage or internal moonlighting
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Guaranteed employer 401(k) contributions
  • Paid time off and CME allowance
  • Malpractice insurance
  • Florida licensing and credentialing assistance

Qualified radiologists are encouraged to apply for confidential consideration. The hiring organization will be disclosed to qualified candidates during the recruitment process.
