• Conduct remote therapy sessions via our secure online platform, tailoring each session to meet individual client needs.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their experiences and co-create personalized treatment plans aimed at achieving their mental health objectives.
• Regularly assess client progress and adapt treatment strategies as necessary, using evidence-based practices to guide decisions.
• Maintain meticulous records of client interactions, treatment progress, and adjustments made to treatment plans, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care that addresses various aspects of the client’s well-being.
• Stay updated with the latest best practices in mental health service delivery, technology integration, and psychological research to continually enhance the quality of care provided.

As a remote Mental Health Counselor at Bright Health, you will work with a varied patient population, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges. Many clients may have experienced barriers to receiving face-to-face care, and your role is pivotal in making therapy accessible and effective for them.

• A Master’s degree or higher in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active state licensure as a mental health therapist, with one of the following credentials: LMFT, LCSW, LPC, or a licensed psychologist (PsyD).
• Proven experience in providing one-on-one therapy sessions, backed by a solid understanding of various therapeutic modalities.
• Strong comfort level with technology and online counseling platforms, enabling the delivery of seamless remote care.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for effective rapport building with clients.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.

• Experience working with a diverse client population, including underrepresented communities.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline client documentation and tracking.
• Background in crisis intervention and prevention strategies is advantageous.
