Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments tailored to the unique characteristics and necessities of older adults, ensuring to identify their psychological, cognitive, and emotional needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that consider the client’s medical and psychosocial history, as well as their current life circumstances.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and supportive psychotherapy, to help patients navigate geriatric psychiatric conditions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including geriatric psychiatrists and primary care providers, to ensure a comprehensive treatment approach for all clients.

Qualifications
