• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations to identify patients' unique needs and formulate individualized treatment plans.
• Implement and facilitate evidence-based therapeutic interventions, tailoring approaches to align with each patient’s cultural and personal context.
• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions, exploring mental health concerns and fostering resilience and positive coping strategies.
• Work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure consistent and coordinated patient care and effective treatment outcomes.
• Provide crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate safety and stabilization.
• Educate patients and their support systems about mental health, available treatment options, and community resources to empower informed decision-making.
• Maintain meticulous documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, and navigate electronic health record (EHR) systems for accurate patient tracking and history.
• Participate actively in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and cultural competencies.
• Stay updated on the latest evidence-based practices and research in mental health therapy, particularly with considerations of cultural dynamics.

Our practice caters to a broad spectrum of patients, including individuals from various ethnic backgrounds, sexual orientations, and cultural identities. Clients often face challenges related to identity, integration, and access to mental health resources. We understand the importance of nuanced interactions that respect and incorporate the diverse experiences of our patients, ensuring their treatment reflects their unique life contexts.

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LCPC, LCP, LSCSW, or LMFT in the state of Kansas.
• A robust understanding of mental health disorders and a track record of utilizing evidence-based treatment constructs.
• Demonstrated experience in providing both individual and group therapy with a focus on cultural responsiveness.
• Strong crisis intervention skills, with the ability to handle high-stress situations effectively.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities that facilitate trusting relationships with a diverse client base.
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and adept with basic software applications relevant to mental health practice.
• A commitment to maintaining ethical standards, confidentiality, and professional boundaries.
• Ability to function well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

• Experience working in a multicultural clinical setting, demonstrating awareness and sensitivity to cultural dynamics.
• Previous involvement in community outreach or education initiatives that promote mental health awareness among underserved populations.
• Familiarity with integrated care models that involve coordination with other health professionals.
• Participation in professional organizations dedicated to multicultural mental health practices.

The salary range for this rewarding position is competitive, ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
