We specialize in treating conditions such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders, ensuring our patients receive the tailored care they deserve.

Work Environment

As a part of our innovative and supportive outpatient office, you will be part of a collaborative and caring team dedicated to trauma-informed care. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's unique trauma history and establish suitable treatment approaches.
  • Design, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery, resilience, and personal growth.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to provide effective treatment interventions.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, offering patients opportunities to process their trauma, develop robust coping strategies, and enhance their overall well-being.
  • Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, social workers, and other multidisciplinary professionals to provide comprehensive care tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Deliver timely crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring that patients feel safe and supported.
  • Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available mental health resources to foster informed support systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will serve a diverse population of clients, many of whom are grappling with the impact of previous traumas. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of trauma-related disorders and employ a range of therapeutic techniques that foster recovery. Qualifications
  • A masterโ€™s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and active licensure as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Kansas.
  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed care practices and evidence-based interventions.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills, with an emphasis on a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and excellent computer skills.
Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:
