This remote role allows you to provide essential mental health services to clients while enjoying the flexibility of working from your own home. If you are a licensed clinician passionate about empowering individuals through mental health counseling, we invite you to explore this opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of those we serve.

About the Organization

At Sunrise Care Consulting, LLC, we are committed to delivering high-quality mental health services through innovative and compassionate care practices. We pride ourselves on creating a collaborative and supportive environment where counselors can thrive and grow professionally.

Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing you to create a comfortable workspace tailored to your needs. Each counselor will engage with clients using a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform, ensuring privacy and security for all sessions. Our cloud-based Electronic Health Records (EHR) system simplifies documentation and compliance, empowering you to focus on what truly matters—providing exceptional care to your clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct telehealth counseling sessions in individual, family, and group formats, fostering a supportive environment for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans aimed at addressing mental health issues, trauma, and dual diagnoses.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all client interactions and treatment progress through our electronic health records system.
  • Identify potential crises and liaise with appropriate resources or agencies to ensure client safety and well-being.
  • Offer psychoeducation to clients and their families, equipping them with tools and strategies for managing mental health challenges.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through training sessions and workshops to stay abreast of the latest practices in mental health counseling.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice serves a diverse clientele with varying mental health needs. You will work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other emotional disorders. By fostering a person-centered approach, you will play a crucial role in promoting healing and resilience within each client, ultimately improving their quality of life.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.
  • An active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) is essential.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating a strong foundation in therapeutic techniques.
  • Proficiency in utilizing technology for telehealth practices, including a reliable laptop, internet connection, and webcam.
  • Ability to work independently, manage your time efficiently, and maintain a consistent schedule.
  • Successful completion of a background check prior to employment.
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends, providing flexibility in scheduling client sessions.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with cloud-based EHR systems, particularly those related to mental health practice.
  • Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and interventions used in counseling.
  • Proven ability to work in a remote setting while maintaining productivity and engagement with clients.
Compensation and Benefits

We are proud to offer a competitive yearly salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with education, experience, and specialization. In addition, our comprehensive benefits package includes:

  • Health insurance and dental coverage to ensure your well-being.
  • 401(k) matching to support your long-term financial goals.
  • Health savings account options to manage medical expenses effectively.
  • Life insurance for peace of mind.
  • Paid time off to encourage work-life balance.
  • Professional development assistance to foster career growth.
  • Flexible scheduling, allowing you to choose your own hours and maintain control over your work-life integration.
