In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will be responsible for:

• Directly engaging with clients to assess their needs and collaboratively set achievable treatment goals.
• Providing prevention-oriented therapy tailored to individual client needs.
• Designing, implementing, and continually reviewing treatment plans alongside clients and their support systems.
• Collaborating with external treatment providers, educational institutions, and placement agencies to ensure comprehensive care.
• Documenting all client interactions and treatment outcomes in accordance with organizational policies to maintain best practices.
• Maintaining a manageable caseload and keeping thorough session notes to track client progress.
• Participating in regular staff meetings and continuing education sessions to enhance professional knowledge and inter-team collaboration.
• Contributing positively to our culture and work environment by sharing insights and support with fellow team members.

You will have the opportunity to work with a broad range of clients, including those facing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and other mental health challenges. The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

• A valid and current state license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health counseling or related fields.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, with a Master’s preferred for this level of practice.
• Proven ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing, allowing for strong rapport-building with clients of various backgrounds.
• Exceptional empathy, patience, and leadership qualities that enhance team dynamics.

While not mandatory, additional experiences that would enhance your application include familiarity with community mental health resources, experience working with underserved populations, and knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic practices. Previous involvement in teletherapy settings will also be a plus.
