Senior Healthcare Analytics Developer (HEDIS & Stars)
Location: Remote/WFH

We are seeking a highly technical Healthcare Analytics Developer to design, build, and maintain advanced analytics solutions supporting HEDIS and CMS Star Ratings performance initiatives.

This role is ideal for a hands-on Tableau developer with strong healthcare quality analytics experience who can independently translate complex HEDIS requirements into scalable dashboards, automated reporting solutions, and actionable business insights. The successful candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strong healthcare business knowledge to support performance improvement, regulatory reporting, and quality measurement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced Tableau dashboards and reporting solutions supporting HEDIS and CMS Star Ratings performance.
• Translate HEDIS measure specifications and reporting requirements into scalable analytics and visualization solutions.
• Develop complex Tableau calculations, parameters, filters, and interactive dashboard functionality.
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and independently deliver reporting solutions with minimal supervision.
• Utilize Python and SQL to automate data analysis, reporting processes, and performance monitoring activities.
• Validate measure calculations, reporting logic, and dashboard outputs to ensure accuracy and data integrity.
• Identify performance opportunities, data anomalies, and reporting gaps impacting HEDIS and Stars outcomes.
• Collaborate with Data, IT, and Quality teams to troubleshoot reporting issues and improve data reliability.
• Create audit-ready reporting and dashboards that support leadership decision-making and quality improvement initiatives.
• Support annual HEDIS specification updates and implementation of measure logic changes.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of healthcare analytics, business intelligence, or healthcare reporting experience.
• Advanced Tableau dashboard development experience with the ability to build solutions independently from requirements through deployment.
• Strong Python programming skills for analytics, automation, and data processing.
• Advanced SQL skills with experience querying and validating large healthcare datasets.
• Direct experience working with HEDIS measure specifications and quality performance reporting.
• Experience validating measure calculations and supporting HEDIS reporting initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and deliver technical solutions with minimal oversight.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data validation skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
