Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify each client's emotional, social, and behavioral needs, documenting findings for effective treatment planning.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques to provide individual and group counseling that addresses a range of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions.
• Lead group counseling sessions focused on critical topics such as bullying prevention, stress management, and development of social skills, providing a safe and supportive environment for open discussion.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues, including healthcare providers and administrative staff, to develop comprehensive intervention plans for clients facing behavioral concerns.
• Facilitate referrals to community resources and support networks, ensuring that clients have access to additional services to enhance their overall well-being.
• Offer crisis intervention services, risk assessments, and safety planning to ensure the immediate safety of clients in distress.
• Develop and lead educational workshops for clients, their families, and community members, aimed at increasing awareness of mental health issues and available resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on clients of diverse backgrounds seeking help for various mental health challenges. This role emphasizes a trauma-informed approach, respecting each individual’s unique history and current struggles. You will work with both children and adults, employing effective communication strategies to build rapport and trust, thus facilitating their journey toward recovery and improved mental health.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Strong foundational understanding of child and adolescent development, behavioral interventions, and principles of trauma-informed care.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to foster productive relationships with clients, their families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of relevant professional experience in a mental health or educational setting, particularly within schools or community health environments, is highly preferred.
• Experience with telehealth or remote counseling practices, which can enhance our capability to reach more clients effectively.

Compensation and Benefits
