Work Environment

As a remote Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will work from the comfort of your home while engaging in meaningful virtual sessions with clients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive assessments to gauge clients' mental health status, identifying potential areas of concern.
• Develop effective, individualized treatment plans that align with clients' goals and promote their personal growth and well-being.
• Deliver evidence-based individual therapy tailored to each client, utilizing therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness techniques, and trauma-informed approaches.
• Establish and monitor therapeutic goals, providing ongoing support and adjustments to treatment as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation to uphold the highest ethical standards and meet regulatory requirements.
• Offer teletherapy options, accommodating clients with accessibility challenges or those who prefer virtual sessions.
• Engage in continuous professional development, attending workshops and training to enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on elderly clients, individuals diagnosed with terminal illnesses, and their families. You will provide critical support in addressing their mental health needs, which may include coping with trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and adjustment challenges associated with serious health conditions. Understanding the unique emotional landscapes of these individuals is vital for facilitating healing and growth.

Qualifications

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent (PsyD).
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and a non-judgmental approach in interactions with clients and colleagues.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills to effectively balance caseload and administrative responsibilities.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in a hospice or palliative care setting is highly beneficial, providing insight into the unique challenges faced by clients in these environments.
• Experience utilizing teletherapy platforms and virtual counseling techniques to engage with clients effectively.
• A background in trauma-informed care or specialized therapy modalities is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
