Sign On Bonus of up to $10,000*
  • Schedule: Full Time - Days
  • Coverage Area: Gordon County
  • Sees and plans home health aide activities in the absence of other healthcare professionals. 
  • Demonstrates effective communication skills with all team members, patients, and families.
  • Maintains clinical record information in accordance with established standards and within established time frames.
  • Participates in orientation, in-service, and staff meetings as scheduled, and develops professional and clinical skills through attendance at staff development meetings, educational activities, and professional affiliations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• A working knowledge of community resources and an ability to refer patients and families appropriately.
• Knowledge of Home Care Regulations and Third-Party Reimbursement as it impacts care delivery.
• Entry level competency of occupational therapy practice, theory, principle, and applications as defined in competency department policies.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak conversational English.
Education:
• Master's [Preferred]
Field of Study:
• in Occupational Therapy
Work Experience:
• 1+ clinical experience as an occupational therapist in an acute or rehab setting [Required]
• 1+ of clinical experience as an occupational therapist in home health [Preferred]

• Education requirements for this position are determined by the licensing or certification standards set forth by the relevant certifying body. Applicants must possess the level of education mandated for eligibility to obtain and maintain the required license or certification.
