• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to accurately evaluate patients' mental health needs and craft personalized treatment plans.
• Provide short-term individual counseling and immediate crisis intervention to patients dealing with a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions.
• Facilitate therapy groups and interactive workshops that cover topics such as stress management, coping strategies, and self-care techniques, effectively promoting personal development.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including medical and support staff, to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care, essential for achieving optimal outcomes.
• Engage in outreach initiatives, including mental health awareness campaigns and wellness events, actively serving the community's needs.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in accordance with state regulations and ethical guidelines, ensuring a high standard of professionalism.

Your work will focus on a diverse range of patients, including adults and adolescents facing mental health challenges. Our patient community comprises individuals from varying backgrounds and experiences, each requiring a tailored approach to effectively address their unique concerns. You will play a critical role in supporting marginalized groups, ensuring equitable access to mental health resources and services.

• Must possess an active state license such as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related fields is preferred.
• Strong understanding of the mental health challenges facing diverse patient populations, particularly in a hospital setting.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, necessary for effectively connecting with patients and collaborating with healthcare teams.
• Proficiency in evidence-based practices and brief therapy models, with adaptability to utilize appropriate methodologies based on patient needs.
• Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while managing a diverse caseload effectively and prioritizing tasks.

• Experience working within a healthcare setting, particularly in community health clinics, strongly preferred.
• Prior involvement in outreach programs or mental health campaigns is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and documentation practices relevant to clinical counseling.
