This position allows for the flexibility of remote work while primarily serving clients through our outpatient office setting in Fort Collins. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy, to meet the distinct needs of individuals, families, and groups.
• Engage in collaborative case management with fellow healthcare professionals, providing holistic care that addresses all aspects of a client's life.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with state regulations and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and connection throughout the therapeutic process.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, including workshops and training sessions, to enhance your skills and stay current with the latest mental health research and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work directly with diverse client populations, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Many of our clients come from underserved communities with limited access to mental health resources. As a counselor, your work will not only address symptom relief but also empower clients to achieve meaningful and lasting personal growth.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is mandatory.
• Must hold an active and unrestricted LPC license in the State of Colorado.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting is required.
• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards within the mental health field.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; a demonstrated ability to build rapport with a diverse clientele.
• The capacity to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance client care.
• Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and related technologies for documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance use disorders, or trauma-informed care is highly preferred.
• Experience working with marginalized or high-risk populations, contributing to holistic approaches in treatment.

Compensation and Benefits

• The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from $70,000 to $90,000 annually, adjusted based on experience and caseload availability.
