• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new patients and their families to identify mental health needs and challenges.
• Provide individualized and family therapy tailored to patients’ unique circumstances, fostering a therapeutic environment for growth and healing.
• Prepare documentation, individualized treatment plans, billing, and insurance authorization forms within established time frames, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Develop crisis plans, safety plans, and relapse prevention strategies when necessary to aid clients in maintaining stable functioning.
• Formulate effective discharge plans that facilitate a smooth transition from therapy, while connecting clients with relevant resources.
• Adhere to all federal and state laws and regulations, along with internal policies to uphold high standards of care.
• Participate in ongoing professional training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and stay current with industry best practices.
• Engage in case consultations and agency meetings to collaborate effectively with coworkers and reinforce care strategies.
• Complete all required licensure and mandatory training promptly to maintain credentials.

You will serve a diverse population of individuals seeking mental health support, including children, adolescents, and adults from various backgrounds. Your role will be instrumental in addressing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will provide the necessary guidance and support to empower clients in their mental health journeys, adhering to culturally competent practices.

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that qualifies for licensing is required.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the State of Washington.

While having prior experience in an outpatient mental health setting is beneficial, we welcome candidates with a strong commitment to learning and professional growth.
