Job description

The Regional Sales Manager – Healthcare will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue and market share growth in the healthcare channel. This individual will manage and grow relationships with key chain accounts, Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), broadline distributors, and senior living/healthcare networks. They will partner cross-functionally with internal teams to identify opportunities, deliver solutions, and achieve sales goals while ensuring a superior customer experience. This is a remote position, but the selected candidate must reside in the territory of CA, NV, and UT

Major Job Functions
  • Identify and prioritize target accounts and prospects within the Senior Living and Healthcare sectors.

  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities, close sales, and grow the healthcare channel.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, service, and customer service, to support sales initiatives and drive customer satisfaction.

  • Increase market share and mitigate attrition by conducting regular business reviews with customers to understand their needs, address concerns, and identify opportunities for growth.

  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to showcase the value proposition of our complete beverage platform and beverage solutions.

  • Attend trade shows and participate in regional and national trade organizations as needed.

  • Negotiate contracts and pricing to ensure favorable outcomes for both the company and the customer.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve sales targets and objectives for the healthcare channel.

  • Regularly track and report sales performance metrics, including pipeline activity, revenue forecasts, and market share analysis through CRM and other sales analysis programs.

Required Skills, Abilities & Education
  • Strong national accounts and new business development background preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Nutrition, or a related field required.

  • Strong background in national accounts and new business development preferred.

  • Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the beverage or foodservice industry.

  • Strong understanding of healthcare/senior living market and foodservice beverage industry.

  • Deep relationships within major broadline distributors and GPOs preferred; at minimum, strong knowledge of selling into GPOs and distributor networks.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to travel as needed, at times up to 30–50%+.
