Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized counseling services through telehealth sessions to assess and address clients' mental health needs.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based techniques to assist clients in identifying, understanding, and addressing their challenges.
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs, focusing on symptom management for mental health issues, trauma, and dual diagnoses.
• Provide a safe space for clients to explore their emotions and experiences, ensuring their safety and confidentiality throughout the process.
• Utilize our comprehensive EHR for documentation and ensure compliance with insurance regulations, including Medicaid and Medicare.
• Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate various client needs, including some evenings and weekends.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your approach will involve fostering a trusting and supportive relationship that promotes healing and personal growth, ultimately helping clients navigate their challenges and achieve their goals.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Possession of an active, unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Arizona.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating proficiency in therapeutic techniques.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• A reliable laptop or desktop computer with dependable internet access and a web camera for client interactions.
• Completion of a background check is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with specific therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with cloud-based EHR systems and telehealth software will be advantageous.
